Getting to Bath

NAM2021 is being held at the University of Bath, located in Claverton Down, on the east side of Bath. Bath has excellent transport links and the campus is easily accessible. The best ways to get to our campus from the city centre are by bus, cycling or walking.

Bath Spa train station is on the main line between Bristol and London, Bristol Airport is about an hour away and the city is close to the M4 motorway.

Maps and Travel Directions

Free On-Campus Car Parking

Included in the registration fee is free on-campus car parking. There are numerous visitor car parks on the University campus, including near all of the accomodation. Please note that visitors must not park in staff zone car parks and only blue badge holders may park in disabled bays. Parking Charge Notice enforcement is in place at Bath.

Travel to and from the city

The Bath UniBus service includes the U1, U2 and U3 bus routes between Bath and the University campus. All ticket types can be bought online or on-board the bus and contactless payment is welcomed. A single ticket will cost £2.20 online or £2.50 on the bus, and unlimited travel for a day will cost £4.30 bought online, of £4.50 when bought on the bus. Alternatively, delegates may wish to opt for a FirstWeek ticket, offering unlimited travel for 7 consecutive days on First buses, including metrobus but excluding Airport Flyer services. An online ticket will cost £18.90, and bought on the bus will cost £20.00. More details on the bus routes and ticket types and prices can be found on the firstgoup webpage.

Bus services tend to finish around midnight and so taxis will be required after this, or delegates can also walk.
