Gaia Early Data Release 3: Contents, Access and Use
Invited
On behalf of Gaia DPAC CU6
Gaia Early Third Data Release (EDR3) does not contain new radial velocities (RVs). These will be published in Gaia’s full third data release (DR3), expected in the first half of 2022. In the meantime, to maximise the usefulness of EDR3, RVs from Gaia’s second data release have been copied to EDR3 and improved (Seabroke et al. 2021, submitted). I will present these currently available RVs and look forward to the RVs and spectra from Gaia's Radial Velocity Spectrometer that will be available in DR3.
