The session will review two major international projects with significant UK contributions:
The Dark Energy Survey (DES) and the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI).
Both use 4m telescopes, in Chile and in Arizona respectively.
DES, an imaging survey, has just announced (May 2021) its cosmology results from the first 3 years of data.
DESI, a spectroscopic survey, has just started (May 2021) its survey.
The talks at this session will present new cosmology and other results from DES and the status of DESI.
