Posters

NAM2021 posters from all of the science parallel sessions will be hosted on the RAS web page and be accessible throughout the event for delegates to read. In addition, there will be a dedicated poster session on Thursday 22nd July at 11:00-13:00 BST hosted on Gather.town, where posters will be grouped by session, and delegates will have the opportunity to browse and discuss further with poster authors.

The Gather.town poster session will be split over two lobbies (capacity 500), with Session GatherTownIDs ASR to DSO in Lobby A, and Session GatherTownIDs EO to VRO in Lobby B. (The Gather.town lobbies will be available throughout the conference at reduced capacity if you wish to explore outside the poster session.)

There will be no parallel sessions coinciding with the poster session and so all attendees are encouraged to attend and discuss the work being presented.

A list of all posters, grouped by session, can be found below at the bottom of this page.

Poster prizes

The following prizes will be awarded for posters at NAM2021.

Winton Prize (for postdocs)

Cash prize of £350 for the winner, and £150 for the runner up.

winton

Oxford University Press Prize (for students)

£150 worth of OUP books for the winner, and £100 worth of OUP books for the runner up.

OUP Full RBlock 282

MIST Rishbeth Prize (for all posters in the MIST science areas)

Cash prize of £50 and the opportunity to write your poster up as an article in Astronomy & Geophysics.

The prize winners and runners up for the above 3 poster prizes will be announced in the week of 16 August. Winners will be contacted directly via email, and announcements will also be made on the RAS website and social media.
