NAM Community Session

It's time to look beyond 2021 - to the future of UK astronomy and space science.

The community session brings together leading figures in the astronomy and space community, who will set out their vision for the years ahead. Whether you're an early career scientist, or more established in the field, this is your chance to put questions - straightforward or more challenging - to the people shaping our sciences.

In this session, chaired by Professor Emma Bunce, President of the Royal Astronomical Society, we'll hear from:

Professor Carole Mundell (University of Bath and Chief Scientific Advisor to the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office)

Professor Mark Thomson (Executive Chair, Science and Technology Facilities Council)

Professor Fabio Favata (Head of the Science Planning and Community Coordination Office, European Space Agency)

Dr James Endicott (Space Academic Network)

This session will be held on Wednesday 21 July at 13:00-15:00 BST on our central stage. (YouTube Recording)
